Nursing Heroes: Rebuilding Lives After a Super Typhoon

I take part in a person's life. I'm helping them get back to normal living, which maybe before all this they couldn't dress themselves... Their recovery journey is really a good feeling.
When a super typhoon struck Saipan, it left behind a trail of destruction. But amid the chaos, two nurses, Annie Cangco and Kathie Fetting, found each other and forged an unbreakable bond. Annie, living in a shelter with her family and her son Bradley, who had a spinal cord injury from a car crash, met Kathie, a volunteer nurse from Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation. Together, they embarked on a mission to help Bradley recover and rebuild their lives.
This episode of 'Rehabilitationships' picks up their story as Kathie returns to the U.S. and works tirelessly to bring Annie and her family to Mary Free Bed for further care. Through their journey, you'll see what truly makes a great nurse and why nursing is more than just a job – it's a calling. If you've ever wondered about the impact of nursing beyond the hospital walls, this episode is a must-listen.
It celebrates International Nurses Day by highlighting the compassion, dedication, and resilience of nurses who change lives every day.
