Unlocking Freedom: Escaping the Chains of Guilt

Basically I call it shooting all over ourself. Now, this is perfectly normal human behavior, right because, as humans, the only reason we do anything is because of how we think it's going to make us feel right, and so, by staying in this perceived benefit and indulgent emotion of guilt, there is actually a payoff for us, right, because we are indulging in the inaction and staying in the comfort of our uncomfortable life that we know it right now, yet in the subconscious and how.
Guilt can be a sneaky little emotion, lurking in the background like a persistent hum. In this episode of 'Aging Flipped', Debi Talbert, a certified Mindset & Alcohol Freedom Coach, dives deep into how guilt can quietly handcuff us, holding us back from achieving our dreams and living our best lives. Debi shares her insights on why we often cling to guilt, even when it’s uncomfortable, and how it can become a barrier to growth and change.
She explains how guilt is often tied to our drinking habits and how understanding this connection can be the first step towards breaking free. Debi encourages listeners to examine the thoughts that fuel their guilt and offers practical advice on how to shift these thoughts to create positive change. She also invites listeners to reflect on their own experiences with guilt and share the one thing they wish they had known when they first started questioning their relationship with alcohol.
If you're ready to unshackle yourself from guilt and make strides towards a more fulfilling life, this episode is a must-listen.
