Delivery charges
Standard Delivery
Standard Delivery for mainland UK is a flat rate of £5.99 per order regardless of order size. You can order two or more cases, you still pay only the flat rate of £5.99.
We do not profit from delivery charges. The price we charge you is less than the cost of packing and shipping. We subsidise the costs and aim to cover our losses by increasing sales volume.
Highlands, Islands, off-shore and remote locations
We deliver only within the UK mainland.
Unfortunately we cannot deliver to the Highlands, Islands, off shore and remote locations. We hope to rectify this soon.
Areas deemed to be highlands, islands, off-shore and remote locations are determined by our couriers and are not decided by us.
Although we may agree with you, we cannot enter into discussions with customers as to whether an address should be included in the surcharge zone. Sorry
Delivery schedules
Orders are normally shipped Monday to Friday.
Orders placed and received before midday Monday to Friday will normally be shipped the same day.
Orders shipped Monday to Thursday will normally be delivered the next day.
Orders shipped on Friday will normally be delivered on Monday except for Bank Holidays.
Please note there may be some delays at seasonal peak periods such as Christmas due to increased courier volumes and adverse weather conditions. Please allow extra time for your orders to reach you at these times.
If you have not received your goods within 48 hours of receiving your shipping notice from The Alcohol-Free Shop please contact us.
Saturday and Sunday delivery
We do not dispatch orders at weekends.
We cannot offer Saturday and Sunday delivery. We hope to rectify this soon.
Online orders can be placed at weekends and your goods will be dispatched the next working day.
Public holidays and Bank Holidays
We do not dispatch orders on Public Holidays and Bank Holidays.
There are no deliveries on Public Holidays and Bank Holidays.
These days include Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, Spring and Summer Bank Holidays.
Online orders can be placed on Public Holidays and Bank Holidays and goods will be dispatched the next working day.
Confirming and shipping your order
Once you have completed and paid for your order and delivery, you will receive an order confirmation email from The Alcohol-Free Shop via alcoholfree.com
If you have not seen an email from alcoholfree.com within an hour after placing your order, please check your spam filter. If you find you have not received your order confirmation, please contact us.
Once your order has been processed and dispatched, you will receive a shipping notice from The Alcohol-Free Shop via alcoholfree.com
If you place your order before noon Monday to Friday you will normally receive this shipping notice the same day. If you order after noon Monday to Thursday, you will normally receive your shipping notice the following day. If you order after noon on Friday, over the weekend or on public holidays, you will normally receive your shipping notice the next working day.
If you have not received your shipping notice within this time frame, please check your spam folder. If you find you have not received your shipping notice, please contact us.
Who we use to deliver orders
Once you have received your shipping notice from The Alcohol-Free Shop, your goods will be in the hands of the courier.
We use a courier called Parcelforce.
Parcelforce is part of the Royal Mail Network.
Parcelforce has a network of depots across the UK. You can find your local depot on https://www.parcelforce.com/depot-finder
If, despite our best efforts, the delivery cannot be made to your own home, you may collect your goods from a Parcelforce depot or a Post Office by arrangement. This will still be considered a delivery subject to a delivery charge.
Services our couriers provide
Due to an increase in theft and incidents of missing parcels, our couriers will not leave goods unattended. All deliveries must be signed for by a responsible adult.
You will receive a message from the courier offering you the option to choose a delivery date when you can be home to receive the goods, nominate a neighbour or arrange to collect from a Post Office.
The courier will not accept instructions left on a note on your front door.
The courier system does not allow for us to pass on delivery instructions. You must provide a valid email address and mobile number to receive and respond to notifications from the courier.
If you need a morning delivery, you must select this when you place your order. There is a surcharge for morning delivery. The surcharge will be displayed when you select this option.

How We Ship Your Order
Packages are usually shipped via a courier.
If you have any concerns about your delivery, please discuss this with us before your goods have been dispatched.
We send shipping notices by email. If you have provided us with a valid email address, you will receive a shipping notice after your goods have been collected from us by the courier.
Please check your spam filter if you have not seen an email from The Alcohol-Free Shop within an hour after placing your order.

Shipping Times
Please note we only ship orders Monday to Friday.
You will receive an email telling you when your order has been dispatched.
Orders dispatched from Monday to Thursday will normally be delivered the next day. Orders dispatched on Friday should reach you on a Monday except for Bank Holidays.
We pay our couriers for the next-working day delivery but the next-working day delivery is not guaranteed. Delays may be incurred which are outside our control or the control of our couriers (such as road traffic accidents, adverse weather, customers not being home etc).
At busy times such as Christmas, shipping may be delayed. At times when dispatch will take longer, we will endeavour to tell you as soon as possible if this is the case.
Please do not order unless there will be someone available to sign for the delivery, you are able to collect from a Post Office, or you nominate a neighbour to accept the delivery on your behalf.
How we pack your drinks
We’ve been shipping glass since 2006 and we’ve tried every type of packaging you can think of!
We now ship our products in boxes with internal pulp-based protection around each bottle to ensure your order reaches you in one piece. They are also made from recycled paper and cardboard and are recyclable and compostable.
