Angela's Triumph: From Cancer and Abuse to Championing Women's Rights

For me, helping people helps me to help myself, because I'm not stuck in that woe is me. Basically I'm like: well, this did happen to me. And I think that's where you make progress is when you focus on other people and use your story to help other peoples.
Angela's story is a testament to the power of resilience and advocacy. On this episode of 'Becoming Wildly Well with Brandi Lea', Angela opens up about her battles with ovarian cancer and domestic abuse, and how these experiences shaped her into a fierce advocate for women. Navigating the complexities of motherhood, Angela also had to fight against gaslighting, a form of psychological manipulation that left her questioning her reality.
To combat this, she started documenting her feelings, ensuring her emotions couldn't be invalidated later. Her advice? Ask for help and give yourself the grace to process your emotions. Angela stresses the importance of removing yourself from toxic situations to heal effectively. She highlights the significance of focusing on your 'why'—the core reason that drives you forward. This focus has helped her transform her pain into purpose.
Now, Angela is creating a YouTube channel aimed at supporting women who have faced similar challenges. Her story is a beacon of hope, showing that through helping others, we often find the strength to help ourselves.
