Finding Balance in Chaos: Coping with Pandemic Time Loss

It's one of those things where it's such an important day on the calendar, on the Christian calendar, we wanted to try to make it as special as we could, and so for me, I do still have a lot of my Sunday routine in place, because we are still doing our church services online.
Imagine waking up and not knowing if it's Monday or Friday. That's the reality many of us faced during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. In this episode of 'Discovering Our Scars', Steph and Beth chat about how the pandemic has thrown our sense of time into disarray. With shelter-at-home orders in place, the usual markers of our days have blurred, leaving many feeling adrift.
Steph and Beth share their own experiences of losing track of time and how it mirrors feelings of grief and loss. They dive into the mental health challenges that come with disrupted routines and offer practical tips for finding some semblance of normalcy. Whether it's establishing new daily rituals or leaning on faith, they provide insights to help you cope.
They also touch on the added pressures of homeschooling and parenting during these times, showing just how resilient we can be. As always, Steph and Beth bring their honest and heartfelt approach, reminding us that it's okay to feel lost but also encouraging us to find ways to support ourselves and each other. Tune in for a comforting conversation that offers both hope and practical advice.
