Shelley F. Knight: Transforming Lives with Positive Changes

I realized that, despite having so many semi-colon moments, where you think, is my life story over? But from that I looked at what I'd gone through, what had worked, what I'd tried. Sometimes it tells you to self-kick: get up, life's too short, and it does draw on my time from nursing, when I was working with the dying patients, like learning from the dying how to live a more authentic life.
Shelley F. Knight has a story that might just inspire you to rethink your own path. Once a dedicated nurse, Shelley transitioned into writing and podcasting, bringing a unique blend of clinical knowledge and spiritual wisdom to her work. In this episode of 'You're Sober! Now What?', hosts Tamar Medford and Lane Kennedy sit down with Shelley to discuss her journey from the medical field to becoming an author and podcast host.
Shelley’s book, 'Positive Changes: A Self-Kick Book', and her podcast of the same name, focus on encouraging people to make small, impactful changes in their lives, especially after experiencing loss. She draws from her nursing background and holistic practices to offer practical advice and spiritual insights. Throughout the conversation, Shelley opens up about how working with terminally ill patients taught her invaluable lessons on living authentically and embracing change.
She emphasizes the importance of acknowledging and working through negative emotions, self-doubt, and fear of failure. By sharing her personal experiences, Shelley aims to motivate others to take small steps towards positive change every day. Whether you're dealing with loss, seeking personal growth, or simply looking for a bit of inspiration, this episode offers a heartfelt and practical guide to making meaningful changes in your life.
