Katie's Journey: From Party Scene to Sobriety

The message was there and over there. And then, um yeah, just then my friend- I was mentioning to John the beginning- that my friend from my home group, lauren- oh, for anyone knows her- Two Weeks Ago was hit by a car, and she is it at Del Ceton, just one of my best friends, and she's in pieces, literal pieces, and I've been able to show up for our friends and her and her family.
Katie's story is one that many can relate to. Growing up in the Midwest and Michigan, she learned to drink at a young age. The party scene called her to New York City, where she indulged in heavy drinking, weed, and other drugs. But beneath the surface, Katie was in denial about her addiction. Her life spiraled until she hit rock bottom, a moment that pushed her to seek help.
In this episode of 'The Pink House Chronicles', Katie opens up about her journey to sobriety. She talks about how attending AA meetings and therapeutic programs played a crucial role in her recovery. Katie also highlights the importance of having a strong support system and how it helped her stay on track. Her story is not just about overcoming addiction; it's about finding a new way to live and thrive.
If you're looking for inspiration and practical advice on recovery, Katie's journey is a must-listen.
