Luke Hand's Diary: Plasma Donation and Petty Moments

Some people have less class than a snow day!
Ever had one of those days where nothing seems to go right, but you still find moments of joy? Luke Hand sure did. In this episode, he starts by admitting he was a bit of a jerk during a morning work call. He wasn't productive either, which added to his frustration. But the day wasn't all bad. Luke found some comfort in cuddling his baby nibling and picking up his bike with a new rack.
The highlight, or perhaps lowlight, of his day was donating plasma. Here, he encountered all sorts of characters, from a woman munching chips loudly to another playing spoken word audio on her phone. His quip, 'some people have less class than a snow day', perfectly sums up his feelings about the experience. The episode wraps up with Luke mentioning the Queen's COVID-19 diagnosis and the love people expressed for her at the donation centre.
Through it all, Luke's reflections offer a candid look at the ups and downs of sobriety and everyday life.
