In this episode of 'Voices of Sobriety: Real People, Real Recovery', Chris opens up about his past and the pivotal moments that led him to embrace sobriety. Growing up during the hedonistic 1990s, Chris found himself immersed in a culture of rock music, smoking, and excessive drinking.
His time working in Ibiza only intensified these habits. Returning home, he pursued a career as a stone mason and became a father to an 8-year-old daughter. However, the COVID-19 pandemic brought new challenges, including a breakup and daily drinking struggles. Faced with health issues, Chris decided it was time for a change. He now proudly serves as an admin for the Instagram group @midlandssobersociety and enjoys the freedom that sobriety brings.
