Mother-Daughter Check-In: Navigating Recovery Together
Sometimes you have these thoughts and, in order for me to stay clean and sober, I know that I need to say it out loud to somebody else and or record it and broadcast it, because that is something that, if I get to that point, I'll be like. Not that I'm saying I was anywhere close to relapsing, but I know myself and I know how my brain works, and once I've made the decision that I'm gonna relapse, I'm not making phone calls, I'm not reaching out, I'm not calling anybody to try to talk me out of it.
Julianne and Donna, the dynamic mother-daughter duo from 'How I Met My Mother, Sober', are back with a heartfelt check-in. In this episode, they open up about the ongoing challenges and victories in their recovery journeys. Donna shares her emotional experiences reconnecting with family, highlighting the gift of recovery and the struggles that come with it.
