Growing up on various military bases, Lacey's early years were marked by constant movement and a sense of instability. At 8, she finally settled in Illinois, where her life seemed to find some calm. But behind this facade of normalcy, a storm was brewing.
Her experimentation with cocaine soon spiraled into a full-blown heroin addiction, a secret she kept from family and friends. Lacey recounts the lengths she went to hide her drug use and the dramatic turn her life took as she fell deeper into addiction. Yet, her story doesn't end there.
