There's reasons for everything. There's reasons for everything. And especially in my job, I deal a lot with transgenerational trauma. So some of my clients are families the children the parents and then the grandparents as well and when you look at it from a meta points of view like that you can really isolate the origin as far as you can trace anyways because once the lineage passes away the great-grandparents then it's just it's stories right now that you have to work with but you can really see that oh yeah so great-grandmother they were immigrants and her mother passed away when she was five she grew up without a mother with an abusive father because of the pressure in the landscape in the 1920s or 30s right and then you think about what's happening in the world at this stage she ends up having children now she never learned what it is to be a mother and all of a sudden she's a mother so her daughter is never going to learn what it is to be a mother or her children and then it just kind of you know it transfers from the one generation to the next generation. Until there's one generation where the pain becomes so extreme that it outweighs any fear of change.
