I think the biggest tool that therapy gave me in my life that I still employ today is that I should not be so hard on myself and that I should know that not only am I going through things, but sometimes when somebody does something, I try to think about why they're doing it, why they're saying it and kind of analyze that rather than reacting to it. So you can't really control how people act, but you can control how you react.
