Unlocking Your Creative Potential with Bridget and Jeren

Episode Overview

  • Embrace creativity in every aspect of your life
  • Counter destructive and toxic behaviours in modern society
  • Invest time in pursuits that cultivate growth and learning
I would love to be able to inspire people to trust that they too can be creative in whatever field or whatever they want to do. Even if it's not something you want to do for a living, I think it's so important to exercise that creativity in your life, whether it's gardening or some people love building furniture or just this is so much I think of our modern society's ailment right now is it's a very destructive, toxic culture at the moment where it's easy to destroy. It's easy to go online and just shitpost and talk and pile on people. It's much easier to do that than it is to say, invest that time in pursuing something that you want to learn.
Ever thought about what it really means to be creative? In this episode of 'Factory Settings', Bridget Phetasy and her co-host and husband, Jeren Montgomery, dive into the heart of creativity. They share their personal definitions and debunk common myths about what it means to be creative. Whether you're an artist, a scientist, or just someone looking to add a bit more flair to your daily routine, this conversation is for you.
Bridget and Jeren argue that creativity isn't confined to traditional art forms—it's a vital part of all human experiences. They discuss how embracing your creative side can help you counteract the negativity and destructive behaviors that seem so prevalent today. Instead of tearing down, they advocate for building up through creative expression. Tune in to hear why trusting your creative instincts can lead to personal growth and a more fulfilling life.
This episode offers a refreshing take on why it's worth investing time in activities that nurture your creativity and contribute to your overall well-being.
