Love multiplies love. Love covers a multitude of sins. Love does not take offense. It's biblical.
Ever wondered how someone can juggle teaching, charity work, and film production while keeping faith at the core of it all? Meet Holly Carney. In this episode of 'The Elizabeth Chance Show', Elizabeth sits down with Holly to chat about her incredible journey. Holly, alongside her husband John Carney, an NFL place-kicker, has dedicated her life to helping others.
Their first big venture, Kick Start for Kids, raised over 60% of the funds for Freshstart Surgical Gifts, which now has its own wing at Children’s Radys Hospital. But they didn't stop there. They went on to establish several more charities, including Breaking the Walls of Jericho for teens in crisis and Dinner with the Pros to support Catholic Charities in Southern California.
Holly's passion for teaching led her to write a children's book about step-mothers and even produce a song to go with it. She also launched an online store for blended families. Over two decades, Holly created curriculum for various school programs that combined athletics and faith formation. Her love for storytelling eventually led her into the world of film and television, where she now produces family-friendly content.
This episode is a heartfelt conversation about faith, resilience, and the transformative power of giving back. Whether you're looking for inspiration or just a good story, Holly's journey is sure to captivate you.
