“So, for instance, if you're in a relationship and as a woman and you might have that fear that a man may be stronger or whatever it is, and that's a reason why you wouldn't want to think about leaving the relationship because of that fear and the long term ongoing effects that that might happen, if that makes sense, yeah, whether there are biological differences or not in regards to the fear response, what we do know about domestic violence is that it is a gender.”
