Viv's Journey: 93 Days Sober and Embracing Self-Love

For me, this wanting to talk about this is that there's that there is that great, what I want to call a gray area of drinking, the gray area of drinking is, you are still high functioning, you still can, can you know, homeschool the kids, because you know some kids are back to school now and some kids are home, or you can show up to your job and do it effectively and um, but at the same time you can have a drinking problem.
What does it take to transform your life in just 93 days? In this episode of the Sobertown Podcast, Viv, also known as Sober_iThrive, opens up about her journey to sobriety and self-love. Interviewed by her sober coach Heather Lowe from Ditched the Drink, Viv shares her experiences and the profound changes she has undergone since quitting alcohol. She reflects on how sobriety has impacted her relationships and mental health, particularly her struggles with social anxiety and fear.
With candid honesty, Viv discusses the 'gray area' of drinking where many dismiss the signs of a problem because they remain high-functioning. Her story highlights the importance of self-love and vulnerability in recovery, shedding light on how honest conversations about alcoholism can break down stigma. Heather Lowe adds her perspective on the crucial role of a sober coach in guiding someone through these challenges.
Together, they offer a blend of personal anecdotes and professional insights that are both informative and inspiring. This episode is a treasure trove of wisdom for anyone navigating their own path to sobriety.
