Imagine growing up in a family where addiction is a constant shadow. That's Sarah Stinson's reality. Her brother's sobriety journey, starting 22 years ago, sparked her interest in human behavior, leading her to earn a degree in psychology. Her first job at Origins Recovery Center exposed her to the profound changes sobriety can bring, especially in men battling addiction and co-occurring disorders. Sarah's own struggle with heavy drinking and relationships with alcoholics eventually pushed her to embrace sobriety herself.
Today, she coaches others to live authentically, shedding the layers that block their true self-expression. In this episode, Sarah opens up about her journey and the importance of self-awareness and self-discovery in living a life true to one's highest values. Additionally, co-host Jim Grant introduces his upcoming workshop 'Heart of a Man', designed to help men reflect on their past and grow into better versions of themselves.
