Imagine a young boy who seemed to have it all—a good school, athletic talent, and a promising future. Yet, Paul always felt different, like he didn't quite fit in. His story takes a sharp turn when, at the tender age of 12 or 13, he gets drunk for the first time while celebrating a hockey championship. High school saw Paul experimenting with marijuana and narcotics, eventually leading him down the path of becoming a drug dealer. But his journey didn't stop there. Paul faced numerous challenges, including multiple detoxes and stints in treatment facilities. It wasn't until he reached rock bottom and asked for help from a higher power that his real recovery began.
