I think it started when I started having the symptoms again. And he was like no, and he sent me to radiology and to get angiograms, different things of that nature. So I think at the end of this whole campaign I raised about- and you know all those doctors that had dealt with me actually met up at a conference and decided that the doctor at rutgers was going to do the procedure.
Picture being just 20 years old and facing a life-altering diagnosis.
