Claudia Jungert: From Heartache to Healing and Leadership

I found it easier to do [step back and brainstorm] at work than I did with my kids. I'm not trying to put words in their mouth, I'm not trying to actually, um, direct the conversation. So we'll just make sure that before we do that. Uh, sort of like it resolves and you can, kind of you can explore, with a more open heart, I think, what's going on for people you don't have that you know.
What happens when life throws you a curveball you never saw coming? Claudia Jungert knows all too well. In this heartfelt episode of 'Broken Open', Claudia opens up about the dual challenges of becoming a widow and supporting her son through drug treatment. Her story is one of resilience, transformation, and learning to let go of control. Claudia’s journey teaches us the importance of empathy in leadership and the necessity of self-care.
She candidly discusses how she became a better listener and a more compassionate leader, emphasizing that you can't pour from an empty cup. Claudia's experience with the legal system during her son's addiction also offers valuable insights for anyone navigating similar waters. She stresses the importance of community support and not being afraid to ask for help. If you're looking for inspiration on how to turn adversity into strength, this episode is a must-listen.
