If somebody has an infection, let's say you get a skin infection the causes are bacteria right and the symptom is pain swelling redness now if I just give someone the treatment that kills off the bacteria and don't control the symptoms they often don't stick to the treatment. Because people are more interested in their symptoms because you're living with your symptoms every day.
