We have to start to live through the body, not from the mind. This is a new form of training to train somebody out of addiction, out of depression, out of anxiety, out of connection to a past. We remember the past through our own lens, our own selective lens. There's a lot of science around just how inaccurate our memories actually are when we remember events. So when there's a car accident and they, you know, they interviewed 10 people who saw the same car accident just half an hour ago, you get 10 different stories about what took place. That's because we're not seeing the world as it is. We're seeing the world as we are. We are colored by our experiences.
Ever felt like life is throwing too much at you all at once? You're not alone. In this episode of 'In The Circle', Tommy Rosen sits down with Brien, who opens up about his current struggles, ranging from past traumas and medical malpractice to deep-seated religious concerns.
