I just thought it was really interesting seeing that this is a brain thing rather than a me and my effort thing. Knowing some of this stuff as teenagers would have been helpful. It's sad that they don't really dig into some of this stuff. It's like why did I react so bad when you like said you needed to talk to me but really you were just like I just was asking about birthday cake. But I like snapped because I had quickly felt defensive. It's just so I feel like knowing that it's gonna be like a slippery slope kind of like it's never going to be just a smooth, gradual process can help us on those days. If we remember to reflect on that, that like, okay, I'm going to have some days where I backslide and that's just part of this process. Does that make sense?
