Megan Cohen's Path: From Addiction to Community Healing

It actually was literally like the night my mom picked me up in Kensington this last time around, you know, I asked her to bring out food and water and, like she did, the people out there, like one of the girls, was crying to her about how grateful she was and, like I said to my mom, and not necessarily like thinking there was any truth behind it, because I still didn t know if I could ever get sober and stay sober, but I was like you know, one day I m going to come out and do this right and, like I said, I didn t actually have plans of like that becoming something that I did with my life.
Ever wondered what it takes to turn personal pain into a beacon of hope for others? Meet Megan Cohen, who joins hosts Curt Neider and Shelley Mangum on the Illuminate Recovery Podcast to share her compelling story. Megan's journey through addiction saw her entering 71 different treatment centers, struggling to confront the emotional issues that kept her trapped. But she didn't give up.
She speaks candidly about the turning point that led her to finally embrace recovery and the role faith played in her transformation.
