“I wanted the book to share some of that light, especially because if you think about it, perhaps you know better than I. And after I wrote the book, I did a lot of research on books out there that speak to this kind of upbringing. They're very rare combination of books that speak to the lifestyle that I had. And then look at transformation from a sense of you go from 100%, 1000 degree of anger, violence, and rage to peace and no conflict, right? Figuring out ways to mediate and things of that nature without leaning on religion, right? Without leaning on that kind of thing. This is solely my heart and saying, this is the right thing to do for me.”
