As the years went by, this escape turned into a trap, limiting his potential and clouding his future. But Michael's story doesn't end there. Through the support of Alcoholics Anonymous, he found the strength to change his life.
Working the steps with a sponsor and building meaningful relationships within the AA community, Michael transformed from a struggling addict to a proud father and active member of AA.
