Vanisha's Journey: From Addiction to Advocacy

I really want to reach as many people as I can to let them know that there's hope, like i. I don't know if you and I have talked about this before, but I, like I, I should have been dead. Like it's a miracle, and I just think, if I can do that, some little chick from you know a small town, Fort St John.
Imagine being a young person battling addiction, only to rise and become a beacon of hope for others. That's Vanisha's story. In this episode of 'Voices in Recovery', she opens up about her struggles with youth addiction and how she turned her life around. Vanisha doesn't just stop at her personal recovery; she goes on to establish the Terminator Foundation and the Terminator Run, initiatives aimed at supporting others on their recovery journeys.
She also shares how the COVID-19 pandemic impacted her organization and the steps they've taken to bounce back. Hosting her own podcast, 'Ordinary Courage', Vanisha is dedicated to spreading messages of resilience and hope. Her story is a compelling testament to the power of self-reflection and community support in overcoming addiction. Tune in to hear how one woman's determination can spark change and inspire countless others.
