Last year, my daughter got to see me sober for the first time. And it was the most amazing situation that I could have been put in because the stars aligned to be able to see her because I lived in Alaska she lived in Tennessee and the stars aligned where things worked out perfectly and for the first time she seen me sober really the best version on myself and her mother and her stepfather seen me sober and so now they have a better faith and confidence in me as a human being and as a father where i don't have to be like hey look guys sorry, guys, sorry, I missed this visit because I was too shit-faced. Or sorry, guys, I couldn't pay my child support because I just spent it all on alcohol.
