Nanette Ginse: Healing Through Touch and Compassion

I want people to feel loved and be loved. When it is the problem, I mean when our book tells us that we can be happy, joyous and free.
Imagine finding solace in the simple act of touch. Nanette Ginse, a licensed massage therapist and board-certified reflexologist, has dedicated her life to helping others experience this kind of healing. With a background that includes traveling to China to study Chinese medicine and teaching Traditional Chinese Medicine Theory and Acupressure for 18 years, Nanette's expertise is vast and deeply rooted in holistic practices. In this episode of the 'Recovery Matters!
Podcast', she opens up about her journey and the incredible work she's doing through her non-profit, Self Care For Recovery. Founded in February 2022, this organization offers free therapeutic bodywork to women in early sobriety who can't afford alternative healthcare. Nanette believes that touch can be a powerful tool in recovery, providing not just physical relief but also emotional support.
She shares how her passion for teaching and bodywork has become a lifeline for many women striving to reach their self-care goals. This conversation is a heartfelt exploration of how one woman's mission is making a difference, offering hope and healing to those who need it most.
