Working the steps has helped me to see that god can be trusted and I was able to give over, issue after issue, to him.
What happens when life doesn’t go according to plan? Sonna knows this all too well. Growing up with an absent father and a mother overwhelmed by stress, she sought solace in control and anger. She clung to rules and expectations, hoping they would provide the stability she craved. But her carefully laid plans couldn't shield her from the chaos of a rushed marriage and unexpected pregnancy. Feeling lost and alone, Sonna found her way to Celebrate Recovery.
Through this supportive community, she began to work the steps and slowly learned to let go of her need for control. Trusting in God's care, she discovered peace in living one day at a time. Sonna's journey is a powerful reminder that healing and hope are possible through faith and community.
