Raised in a household where addiction was the norm, Michelle battled codependency and an addiction to alcohol for years. Her turning point came when she decided to enter an outpatient program and confront her issues head-on, starting with step one.
Through the Celebrate Recovery program at Big Valley Grace Community Church, Michelle found not only faith but also a supportive community that helped her rebuild her life. Today, she's giving back in remarkable ways—facilitating small groups and step studies, serving as a youth minister, and participating in her church's Angel Tree ministry. Michelle's journey is a powerful reminder that no matter how deep the struggle, recovery and a brighter future are within reach.
