I must have had some deep subconscious drive to make a career out of my codependency.
Jimmy R.'s life has been a rollercoaster of pain, addiction, and ultimately, redemption. Growing up with a mother who struggled with drug addiction, Jimmy absorbed her pain and became codependent in his relationships. His own battles with alcohol and drugs led to a violent confrontation with a former stepfather. Despite his role as an assistant pastor, Jimmy was trapped in a cycle of denial and fear of rejection.
