A lot of people look at non-profits and think, oh, well, they can't have any money in the bank. Kyle Dubé is not making money off of it, Terry Wickham's not making money, Kyle Dubé is not making money off YOUCAN Youth Services like that's not if that's why it's called non-for-profit or ours is a charity but I do think that it's good to have some surplus so that you can have some rainy day fund money and so that maybe you want to increase something or do something a little better then you can put some money towards that.
Ever wondered how a love for music can shape a life? Meet Terry Wickham, the heart and soul behind the Edmonton Folk Music Festival. Born in Dublin, Terry's passion for music was sparked during car rides with his dad, grooving to legends like Eric Clapton and The Beatles. Now, as the Artistic Director of the Edmonton Folk Music Festival, Terry's vision of inclusivity and genre diversity has transformed the event into a cultural gem. Despite the challenges thrown by the COVID-19 pandemic, his unwavering dedication shines through.
