What happens when you finally find a place where you truly belong? In this episode of Studio RC, we meet Laughing Bear, or L.B., whose journey to Recovery Church Movement is nothing short of transformative. Growing up on a reservation, L.B. always felt like an outsider, and his struggle with alcoholism only deepened his sense of isolation. As a Jewish believer in Jesus Christ, finding a church where he felt accepted seemed impossible.
That all changed when Pastor Max Ingram invited him to Recovery Church. Here, L.B. found not just a place to worship but a family that embraced him wholeheartedly. He was welcomed with open arms, allowed to take communion, and finally felt the warmth of acceptance he had longed for. Now an active member, L.B. leads a Bible study and finds strength in both the principles of Alcoholics Anonymous and the teachings of the Bible.
