I was talking to this guy that I actually answered his phone call coming into treatment. And I talked to him, his mom, got him in, got him set up, got his time to come in. No self-love, just his mom crying about how much her son just doesn't want to live anymore because he's in the grips of addiction. And I was talking to him last night and he's like, this is the first time I can remember that I'm excited for life. And just hearing that, if that don't give you goosebumps, it's the greatest feeling in the world that he wants to live again.
