I needed financial help to afford the attorney that I had to keep me out of jail. And when I look at the person that I was before, I either would have just disappeared from these people's lives or I would have just like killed myself in order to get my hands on money any way that I can to pay these people back. And especially now where somebody that I spoke at a meeting and somebody about like needing to get a new attorney because my old one just sucked so bad and that he was going to cost, at the time, $18,000 and overall $26,000, which was not an amount that I just had laying around to spend on legal fees. Jesus Christ.
