Ever felt like you're stuck in a never-ending cycle of bad decisions? Nickole's story might just be the beacon you need. Growing up in a single-parent home, Nickole faced unimaginable challenges early on. A family friend's betrayal at a tender age pushed her into the dark world of substance abuse. By 11, she was drinking, and soon after, she was introduced to harder drugs like cocaine and meth.
Despite her struggles, she maintained a facade of normalcy, working and attending school. Her addiction took a deeper hold when she started using vicodin after a medical procedure at 20. Even pregnancy couldn't deter her from her path of self-destruction. Her son’s birth, marked by his stay in the newborn ICU, saw Nickole sneaking out with an IV still attached to get her fix. Her journey hit rock bottom on the streets of Skid Row, doing things she never imagined.
But Nickole's story doesn't end in despair. Prison became her turning point. It was there she found the strength to turn her life around. Graduating with honors from 'the streets to the seats', Nickole's transformation is nothing short of miraculous.
