I was just done. I was 33 years old at that point. I was just ready to move on. I did what they said. I got an aftercare plan. I went to several... You worked on your soul. That's what you had said before that you hadn't done. You worked on your soul.
Rev. Christian Janson's story is one of remarkable transformation and unwavering determination. Growing up in Bakersfield, California, Christian's early encounters with substances seemed harmless until methamphetamine entered his life during high school. This marked the beginning of a downward spiral into addiction and criminal behavior. His struggles led him to Santa Barbara, where his addiction only deepened, resulting in a cycle of substance abuse and instability.
A turning point came when Christian attended a prayer retreat, sparking his initial steps towards sobriety. However, without addressing the deeper issues within, he relapsed. It wasn't until August 29, 2011, that Christian truly committed to recovery, seeking help and entering rehab. This pivotal moment marked the beginning of his true healing journey. Five years into his sobriety, Christian felt a calling to align his purpose with his talents.
This led to the creation of Most High Ministries, a platform he founded with his wife, Leslie. Through their app, Most High Media, they share over 13 documentaries and a television series focused on recovery, providing a free and ad-free resource for those on similar journeys.
