Fashioning New Futures: The REDEMPTION Fashion Line's Impact on Survivors

We're going to be teaching employable skills that will drive entrepreneurialism, creativity. Experience and skill application will be documented throughout the internship that they can then put on a resume, portfolio, school application or even use to start their own entrepreneurial dream or endeavor, because, especially our youth these days, we're, we're very entrepreneurial.
Ever thought fashion could be a lifeline? In this episode of REDEMPTION, hosts Stacey and Juliah dive into the transformative power of the REDEMPTION fashion line and job training program. Juliah, who brings her expertise from a Parsons course in Fashion Industry Essentials, sheds light on how this initiative is more than just clothes—it's about rebuilding lives. The program equips young survivors with employable skills, fostering creativity and entrepreneurial spirit.
Interns get hands-on experience, from modeling for an online store to participating in creative photo shoots that help them share their stories and regain confidence. The episode also features an interview with the author of 'Out of the Wilderness', offering an inspiring narrative that complements the theme of empowerment and healing. If you're curious about how fashion can change lives, this episode is a must-listen.
