Facing Life's Storms: Will's Journey to Sobriety

Removing alcohol allows you to actually do something about a problem, however sometimes without alcohol in front of it, a problem can present more clearly.

What happens when you remove alcohol from the equation and face life's problems head-on? In this episode of Recovery Elevator, Will shares his raw and honest journey to sobriety. Starting with his first drink at 12 and diving into heavy drinking by 15, Will's story is one many can relate to. College life only intensified his drinking habits, turning alcohol into a daily crutch for social anxiety and stress relief.

However, it wasn't until he hit rock bottom that he realized the need for change. Will opens up about how the AA community provided him with the support and consistency he desperately needed. He emphasizes the clarity that comes from facing life's challenges without alcohol and how it has allowed him to truly address his problems.

Join host Paul Churchill as they discuss the ups and downs of Will's journey, the importance of support systems, and the courage it takes to confront life's storms sober.
