Sonee Singh: Weaving Spirituality and Self-Discovery on Toni TV

I actually believe that the two should be woven together, and one of my big visions is to proactively work out how we can promote that, so that when you go and see a doctor, for instance, there's a spiritual component of that consultation that addresses the spiritual aspect of that human being, because both you and I know that there are defined links between our spiritual beliefs, what goes on in our mind and what transpires in our body.
Have you ever wondered how spirituality can shape one's journey of self-discovery? In this episode of 'Toni TV', host Toni Lontis sits down with Sonee Singh, a writer whose life is as diverse as her stories. Born in Mexico to Indian parents, raised in Colombia, and now residing in the United States, Sonee brings a unique multicultural perspective to her work.
She shares how her background and spiritual practices influence her storytelling, creating tales that resonate on a deeply personal level. Sonee's journey is a tapestry of varied experiences. With degrees in Biology, Hospitality Management, and Complementary Alternative Medicine, she has worn many hats—from hospitality professional to wellness coach. Her certifications in Reiki, aromatherapy, and intuitive practices enrich her narratives, making them not just stories but holistic experiences.
In this conversation, Sonee opens up about the importance of integrating spirituality into healthcare. She believes that true well-being comes from weaving together the physical and spiritual aspects of our lives. Her time at the Peel Castle writing retreat also features prominently in the discussion, offering insights into how connecting with other writers from diverse backgrounds has influenced her work. But that's not all.
Sonee also gives us a glimpse into her upcoming novel and discusses the parallels between her poetry and prose. Her three poetry books—Embody, Embrace, and Embolden—are part of her Soul Seeker Collection, each reflecting her journey towards self-acceptance and living life on one's own terms. Whether you're interested in spirituality, self-discovery, or simply enjoy a good story, this episode offers something for everyone. Tune in to hear Sonee's fascinating journey and perhaps find some inspiration for your own path.
