Paul Casey: From Prison to Purposeful Coaching

I had to change myself mentally, which I thought school was going to do, that I had to change myself emotionally, but the way I did that was in the opposite effect is: I've hardened my emotions because you can't feel emotions or show emotions in prison, because it makes you weak, right.
Paul Casey's story is one of resilience and transformation. After nearly two decades entangled in addiction and the prison system, Paul decided it was time for a change. With just one year left on his ten-year sentence, he began a journey of self-improvement that would ultimately lead him to sobriety and success. In this episode of 'The Addiction Podcast - Point of No Return', Paul shares how he turned his life around by focusing on fitness, nutrition, and mindset coaching.
His tale isn't just about personal triumph; it's a roadmap for anyone struggling with similar challenges. Paul opens up about his early life, marked by his mother's addiction and his own difficulties fitting in at school, which eventually led him to drugs and a cycle of criminal behavior. He speaks candidly about the emotional barriers he had to overcome and the importance of addressing addiction early, not just for the individual but for their loved ones as well.
Today, Paul runs a successful coaching business, helping others become their best selves. His story is a testament to the power of inner work and a shift in mindset. Tune in to hear how Paul turned his life around and how his experiences can offer hope and guidance to those in need.
