I now ensure that every purchase that I decide to make has to wait overnight until I make it, and then, if I still want it, I will either purchase it, if it s within a certain amount of money, or I will talk to my husband and I will say: hey, let me know if I can buy this, and then he will ask me questions like: well, why do you need this? I mean he may just say: yeah, go ahead, that s fine, but he ll ask questions that really make me think: oh, you re kind of right. I don t need a new chair, so I use him as a sound board to help me curb that impulse shopping.
