Marsha S: Finding Freedom and Forgiveness Through Recovery
I can have freedom and forgiveness of myself and all of that. Because today I am an exceptional mom, I have a relationship with all five children that I'm really proud of, really really proud of, and I can look back and say: but before recovery I was that mom that said I'm going to go to the store and get a gallon of milk and I might be back in minutes or it might be Three Days, and I had no say over what the answer was going to be to when's mom coming home because of alcohol, because of alcoholism.
