I want you to know that because what I'm going to share is different from what other people experience. So when I was in high school, going through middle school and high school, my family member that abused me, I was very angry, as I said before the break, and I didn't know what to do with that. So there were times where I wanted to, I had thoughts of killing my abuser and I had thoughts of violence. And I'm thankful to God for that. So coming into high school as an angry kid, I had no bearing on church. I was listening to, you know, all the heavy metal stuff. I didn't care about people. At one point, my mom walked into my room, and this is where grace really kind of enters into my life for the very first time. My mom walks into my bedroom, and she shuts off the Metallica record I'm listening to, and she says, come with me.
