Natalie's Road to Recovery: From Addiction to Transformational Life Coach
I just feel like I found my purpose in helping people, and of course, within the step frame, you don't get paid for that work.
Natalie's story is a rollercoaster of challenges and triumphs. From an early age, addiction gripped her life, leading to multiple rehab visits by the time she was 17. Her journey took a darker turn with a major relapse that landed her facing a long prison sentence. But it was in the depths of this despair that Natalie found a lifeline through Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and began living a recovery program.
Despite achieving seven years of sobriety from drugs and alcohol, she continued to struggle with food and sex addiction. Through the support of the women in AA, especially during the heartbreaking loss of two pregnancies, Natalie discovered the power of community and the importance of service. Her dedication to the 12-step program led to a profound transformation, helping her find freedom from her addictions.
Today, Natalie lives in Phuket, Thailand, working as a transformational life coach, using her experiences to support others on their recovery journeys. Her story is a testament to resilience and the healing power of connection.
