Jenny's Journey: Miscarriage, Birth Trauma, and Finding Strength

It's not something gross that happens in the bathroom, it's a life that you intended to create, and it's just so bizarre- and I really I don't even know how it happened in this world- that we came to that point that you know.
Jenny's path to motherhood has been anything but smooth. She and her husband are blessed with two beautiful boys, but their journey has been marked by significant challenges. Jenny experienced a miscarriage during her first pregnancy, a loss that left her feeling isolated and unable to express her grief.
In her second pregnancy, she hoped for a natural childbirth at a birthing center, but after more than twenty hours of labor and a diagnosis of infection, she had to undergo an emergency c-section. Adding to her struggles, Jenny dealt with debilitating migraines for years, eventually leading her to make the difficult decision to have a hysterectomy on medical advice.
In this heartfelt episode of 'Birds In A Tree', Jenny opens up about these experiences, discussing the emotional toll they took on her and the strength she found in facing them. She also addresses the often-taboo topic of miscarriage, advocating for open conversations and support for those who have suffered similar losses. Jenny's story is a powerful reminder of the resilience of mothers and the importance of breaking the silence around difficult experiences.
