I lived my own hell, if you will, you know. And I'm surviving in my own heaven.
Picture a young boy growing up with a father who drinks too much. This is Quint's story. He began drinking at 15, using alcohol to mask his anxieties and worries. This pattern lasted for the next 40 years. But Quint's future became more important than the bottle, and he embarked on a challenging journey to sobriety. His initial attempts were filled with bargaining and self-deception, thinking he could outsmart his addiction.
However, it wasn't until he found the right AA group and a supportive sponsor that he truly began to heal. Today, Quint leads Shoot You Animation & Video production, with teams in Amsterdam, New York, and Los Angeles. In this episode of the Sober.Coffee Podcast, he opens up about his unique experiences with alcoholism and how he felt disconnected from others in AA due to his different struggles.
