I think kids now are going to be a lot they're they're luck more luckier than I was. It was still pretty taboo to be addicted to anything, you know, hard drugs especially. Now it's more talked about, it's more open. Addiction is a common theme now, unfortunately, it's a common theme, right? But I think now, parents are more aware of what could happen if they're not there and my son's friends, if I see, you know, a little piece of me in them, be like, 'Hey, do you need some help? I got you. This is where I came from.' I agree with you 100%.
Ever wondered how someone can turn their life around after hitting rock bottom? Logan Adams' story is one of incredible resilience and transformation. Growing up in a small town, Logan was introduced to drugs at an early age, and by sixteen, he had fallen in love with cocaine. His life took a sharp turn when he was sent to Hargrave Military Academy during high school. But the move didn't keep him away from addiction.
In college, Logan's drug use escalated, leading him down a dark path of opioid abuse and eventually heroin. He found himself homeless in Baltimore, living in abandoned houses and selling drugs to survive. His experiences were harrowing, from witnessing overdoses to losing friends to addiction. Yet, in the darkest moments of his life, Logan found a glimmer of hope that led him to recovery.
Now, as a General Manager and Fitness Instructor at Fit To Recover, he dedicates his life to helping others on their sobriety journey. This episode is a powerful reminder of the strength of the human spirit and the importance of community support in overcoming addiction.
